To say snares are not cruel is absolutely ridiculous. I can show you many pictures of the horrific injuries caused by snares. Totally inhumane!!

@val cane. Yes, free-running snares are legal & very widely used throughout the countryside. Some illegal snares (self-locking) are used but the vast majority are perfectly legal snares which can be bought for about one pound from many outlets & internet sites. Thousands & thousands are in use daily throughout the UK.

@Money4Monopoly - thanks for your support. The votes are slowing down now unfortunately - any ideas of how to promote it & get more votes anyone? As you say, we need some big-name endorsements.

@Money4Monopoly there are photos & links to other anti-snare sites on our website http://www.valewildlife.org.uk/#/snares/4560595408
And yes, I think everyone should take a look at them to see the terrible suffering that snares cause.

Another snaring incident at a wildlife hospital this week. Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead had to put a fox to sleep after it sustained terrible injuries from being trapped in a snare.
Please support this campaign to get them banned :)

Yes, many are legal types but an animal caught in one does not stop struggling so whether thaey are free-running (legal) or self-locking (which are illegal), they cause the same damage.
