The use of vapourizing devices should be regulated in public places
I would like to see a petition to say that vapourising devices should be treated in exactly the same way as tobacco as regards use in public buildings. I have recently sat in restaurants and pubs several times, and had to endure not only the stench of these devices while trying to eat, but also know that I am inhaling vapourised nicotine. There was a medical article on Radio 4 recently during which a doctor said that there was no direct evidence of any harm from these substances, only because they are new. She was of the opinion, however, that time would show that they are toxic to third parties. We had to endure all the lies and obfuscation of the tobacco industry for nearly half a century as regards tobacco. Please don't let us now embark on a comparable period of deceit before vapourising devices are banned in public places.
