I suggest a campaign about ...

Ban the use of snares in England

I work in a wildlife hospital & we deal with wild animals with horrific injuries after being caught in snares. We have many photos to prove the damage done by these inhumane cheese-wires. Domestic pets have also been severely injured by snares.
A ban on their use is long overdue.

These must be banned. Why do humans want to inflict pain and suffering on animals

I'd add my name to this campaign without a doubt.

Horrific, how can this be allowed to continue. We are supposed to be a country of animal lovers, it makes you feel ashamed.

I thought snares had been banned years ago as I have seen images from campaigns by the RSPCA several years ago it is ridiculous that they have not been banned yet .Set this cruelty in the past and get Snares banned NOW...

36 years ago our cat was caught in a snare. He had been missing for a week when he limped into the house with his leg hanging off, covered in blood. The vet said someone must have released him and seen the injuries. The vet was brilliant and with the help of teams of friends over the following few weeks we were able to save our cat and his leg. He lived for another 10 years but we have never forgotten what snares can do.

Banning all snares should be a top priority. All snares should be made illegal as they can trap pets as well.
