This campaign promotes female bishops in the British angligan church, a vast establishment with millions of followers. Should an establishment that possesses control over an immense quantity of minds promote derogatory ideals? Is the bible not constantly being re-interpreted to the degree that women should be termed as having equal capacity to their male counterparts? Should a woman not possess the right to pursue her faith? Surely, if the God she places her trust in has invested faith in her, she should have the right to inspire this faith in others. Equality is persued in modern society: why not in the anglican church? After all, to quote famed medieval priest John Ball: 'When Adam delved and Eva spun, who then was the gentleman?'
