I suggest a campaign about ...

Media Bias

I would like a campaign on media bias due to the misrepresentation of the Scottish Government.
The BBC and all the Newspapers are reporting lies about the Scottish Government.
They are also, not reporting serious fraud and expence fiddling in the Labour party. They are trying to guarantee that Scotland will not be allowed a vote on independence. The BBC allowed the Scottish Government to be abused on a radio programme, where Baroness Deech said that the little pretendy Parliament can run off and be independent as we English are fed up supporting the benefit scroungers in Scotland.
If you wish I could send you countless documents and also a recorded copy of the programme in question.
To save time I would suggest that you visit a news site called newsnetscotland you will find everything you nedd there. I urge you to look at this as it is a serious breach of the Scottish human rights, who have been contacted.
I think it is serious as it could happen in any country in the UK.

It has to be admitted though that Johnny does look like a bit of a twat, doesn't he? Do you think he's ever had a burd?

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

Let's flood them with phone calls and emails from people who DON'T live within the M25 and totally waste their time!

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

I see that 38 degrees is looking for a "web activism volunteer"! I don't think they mention that you needn't appply if you're Scottish and are interested in the democratic rights of the Scottish people! Think I'll apply! The address to send your emails to is johnny.c@38degrees.org.uk or tel. 020 7970 6023

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

You put yourself across as a big fan of democracy Johnny, that'll be as long as you get the result you want! You're a pathetic example of humanity and your site is a joke!

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

Well,it would appear that 38 degrees is the angle at which the shite spews from the mouth of Johnny Chatterton as he sucks up the erse of the BBC in his desperation to get a job with them! You make me sick Johnny Boy!

Out with the M25 the BBC is ignorant and are only interested in their heartland as obviously the owners of this site are, well surprise surprise the majority of people live outside that corrupt heartland. We in Scotland are having a Calman Bill foisted on us in the northern region yet not a mention on our 'impartial' public broadcaster (BBC) on the shenanigans conducted by the committee set up to oversee its integrity.

About 1 hour in then the hosts can see what is going on, if they are interested in democracy that is.

I never received a StAndrews day survey, the blog is now closed to comments!
Standing up for the NHS?? Didn't know NHS Scotland had any problems, it's doing a great job, but you wouldn't know it from the BBC reporting! Or was it NHS England??
I would like to know how 38 decided which issues to include in this survey and how 38 decided who to send it to??

My vote for this issue is here but not in the survey, asking it twice is rather daft, which voting system do you go by??

Is that not hard work for yourself and confusing for your voters?

        Bit disappointed!

This might be of interest to others ...

BBC ‘worst for on-screen portrayal of gay people’

I as a woman am furious. I as a health and specialised professional am furious at promoting ignorance and I as a carer and supporter of dementia parent and special needs autistic boy am furious at their insistance at portraying ignorance and prejudice instead of intelligence and an informed opinion. But here are the links to the gay arguement.

      • JBK5JBK5 commented  ·

In regard to action. The Gay community have suggested that all the community make their objection known about the BBC by withholding their licence payment due to BBC including a fundamentalist christian who says all gays should be killed in their piece on Elton John having a surrogate baby. They said it was for balance. I do believe that there is a lot of people out there from many backgrounds who object to the BBC bias and licence to say and promote anything. It would be good for a all over coordinated effort against the BBC bias and licence. You are not alone in your protest.

Well,Johnny the Puppet is going to do precisely nothing about this and is going to ignore it!That's fine though,I'm going to make a point of telling everyone I possibly can,and I know a LOT of people, what a bunch of London Establishment whipping boys 38 degrees are! Funny that I wasn't one of the "20,000" Scottish 38 degress members surveyed on St Andrews Day? Johnny seems to be practising for his job at the EBC by massaging, blatantly lying about the real facts re. Scotland! The jobs yours Johnny!

      • JBK5JBK5 commented  ·

38 DEgrees intended to do something but has become limp and wimp and has no confidence or convictions or true form or purpose. It asks at every juncture what to do. There are people who have been working and lobbying in areas for years and are more qualified and informed and know what needs doing and changing. 38Degrees should respect and lend its support to these areas not become a sudden expert and overnight champion in things it has only just thought about and considered. 38 has lost its focus.

If it wants to know about any area or issue it is easy enough to look up and find the informed information and involved bodies behind these issues. Not ask plaintively "What shall we do? What should we think?"

It is also Intellectual and supposes only a certain sector of society would be interested and involved. Hence only adverts in Times, Guardian and Independent. Could you tell them that still a lot of people do not read these papers but are still interested in the issues.

38Degrees has become a damp squib. Keeps asking for parental direction and constant reassurance from its advocates. That annoys me as a professional who expects them to know be informed and get on with it.

ere's no point in taking out your frustration on 38 degrees. The disgraceful political bias of BBC Scotland is way beyond the remit of 38 degrees to do anything about. Remember it is not in the Union's, or England's interests, for Scotland to have fair representaiton. Guess how they'll choose!
Complain to BBC Scotland with a copy to BBC HQ in London!!!!!

I think you may have revealed the wee boy's ambition. Correspondent on the BBC.

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

Well Johnny Chatterton,it looks like you may well get your cosy, cushy wee job at the BBC for working so diligently to their agenda!

      • Pictish BeastiePictish Beastie commented  ·

What a pathetic bunch of pro London Establishment,Unionist patsies 38 degrees have shown themselves to be! As Lesserpawn1 says they seem to have forgotten about the "people" and "change",certainly the Scottish people and change in Scotland!

38 Degrees should contact Newsnet Scotland to make the campaign blurb a little more concise. BBC bias in Scotland is becoming intolerable.
