Preventing the British Government from supporting a nuclear future
think that Greenpeace and 38 Degrees should be concentrating its efforts on preventing the British Government from supporting a nuclear future in the UK. I understand that many of the companies interested in taking these projects forward are overseas based (for example, Wylfa in Anglesey is being targeted by the Chinese).
The UK is doing this against a backdrop of the major players in Europe like Germany ending their use of nuclear energy altogether.

Better still would be the introduction of liquid fluoride thorium reactors; clean and safe, can be used to clean up the existing nuclear junk too. Project was shelved in the '60's since this reactor doesn't produce weapons material. World's priorities are somewhat different now though...
