Child Allowance should follow children who go into care.
Child allowance is still paid to the parents when children are taken into care and continues to be paid to them until the child is adopted. This means that the child can spend years in foster care and the parents still get the financial benefit. I believe that the allowance should follow the child and could be offset against the cost of foster care saving the country milions of pounds to be spent on people who really neet it!
