Having been in the unfortunate position of seeing exactly what happens when developers move in on an area of countryside and the complete disregard for the wildlife that depended on that habitat, I believe it is time we all stood up for our precious and and dwindling countryside. For too long unscrupulous developers have been allowed with the willing compliance of councils ( who have pocketed donations), to inflict terrible destruction on our much need breathing spaces. British wildlife has already paid too high a price for the greed of developers. Most of the heads of this multi- billion business live abroad, so are not concerned about the consequences of concreting Britian and spreading urban sprawl, with all of the dire social problems that engenders. We need to march and show the Government - no more.
