Increase Sentences For Pedophiles

Human Rights For Children
Too Often pedophiles are getting off on very small sentences. My suggestion would be 10 year minimum for a first offence, (6 years in real terms) and LIFE with out the possibility of release for any second offence. Its always possible that some misscarrages of justice can arise with the first offence, but if convicted for second time, then the protection of children must trump the offenders right to liberty.

        Totally agree. We live in age where the severity of the punishment in no way reflects the crime. If the sentencing was stronger it sets a moral standing on something which should be tolerated under no circumstances and punished accordingly.
