The banning of neonicotioid pesticides in the UK.
Defra and Bayer are still refusing to admit the causal link between the use of these neonicotinoid pesticides and bee colony losses across the US, Europe and the UK. Recent research (and the third of its kind) has made a demonstrable and explicit link between this type of pesticide and bee colony losses.
