As a US/UK citizen and one who was born under the NHS in 1944, I can tell you that we do not want any American style health care that puts a monetary value along side a persons name and proclaims-’If you can’t pay this amount for your treatment, then stay home and die’, its obscene and immoral, keep it out of the UK.

The health bill is going to potentially have a devastating impact on our NHS. It will potentially leave health care being delivered by companies more interested in profit for share holders than patients interests. It is crucial that this gets debated again in parliament, rather than just being quietly pushed thro by Government as seems to be happening at the moment. 38 Degrees, please help force this debate.

The present government should be ashamed of depraving our MP's their right to vote. There is still time for them to change their mind and take the right path and preserve the respect of our Parliament, the peoples safeguard.

Without the debate in Parliament, proves that the government is afraid that they would have to drop the Health Bill if majority of MP's vote against it.

We are a democratic country and it is fair that without a debate in our Parliament no Bill should be passed.
