Stop David Cameron's plans to allow NHS data to be shared with bioscience and big pharma
Oppose the plans to allow NHS patient data to be shared with pharmaceutical companys, amny of which experiment on animals. The plans involve many disparate groups and will enrage both pro life and animal rights activists/supporters, as well as leading to questions about privacy by the "selling" of data from the NHS in order to allow these companies to use this resource as fodder for their own means. Many of these companies are huge already. The use of data infringes privacy issues. The use of animals in reserch is unnecessary and involves large numbers of animals whoes suffering goes unnoticed. Stem cell research also raises alot of moral issues. Can this really be the way to unite the Uk and prop up a flagging economy? Or just a way for the Government to get its' hand in the pocket of some very large and very powerful companies, and profit as a result? Waht do you think?
