Public Service, NOT private profit! LFB Control MUST remain in public hands and not be allowed to be hived off to the private sector unless you want the possibility of your 999 calls being answered in Mumbai. GET VOTING PEOPLE!

People - Please vote - this affects every single person in London - The LFB control room are only a small group of people (just over 100) but they are, each and every one of them dedicated to keeping you and your family and friends safe 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week!! The government cannot get away with privatising YOUR emergency services. This plan isnt driven by saving you money - its driven by making YOUR emergency service a political pawn. the tories want to sell off as many of your public assets it can before the next election making life difficult for the next political party in power. THIS MUST BE STOPPED NOW!!! please vote!!!!

Please take a minute to vote. If this is going to happen to the biggest and busiest fire control in the United Kingdom, in due course it will also happen to the fire control in your area.

The London Fire Brigade are outsourcing the Control that handles all 999 calls to the Fire Service. This means that untrained and unskilled people will potentially be responsible for mobilising all Fire Engines and Officers in London. We must stop this happening. The current staff are Control Officers, they are highly trained and skilled Officers. If it is privatised it will become a call centre. Not what the Capital City of this country deserves.
