I heard on BBC London last night that Boris did not go through due process to find the sponsor for his bikes. My understanding is that he advertised, got 2 applicants, ignored them and went to talk to the head of Barclays who got a deal for way under market value AND ...AND they get the customer information for every person who uses a bike. I find this extraordinary and so unacceptable. Is it legal??? I'd like to find out more - would you??
