When a car hits a cyclist the presumption is that the driver is a fault

Strict liability operates in many other countries, it directly challenges the attitude that the car is king by making drivers responsible for their actions, "sorry mate I didn't see you" ceases to be an acceptable excuse.

        I quite agree but think the term presumed liability is more accurate and friendly
