I guess none of this would be problem if governments had to balance their budgets and pay off loans they incur within their parliamentary term. All those MPs who vote for an unbalanced budget should be banned from parliamentary service for 5 years. Have an independant crown office determining the budget and publishing its methodology to restrict fiddles.

I agree - see the similar idea posted yesterday - how do we join up these different ideas into a single campaign ?
Campaign for new general election - We didn’t vote for this !
Here are some of the things I didn’t vote for :
• Cuts that are too deep and too fast
• Job losses in front line services
• Back door privatisation of the NHS
• Devolving commissioning to GP’s
• Selling off our forests (good result here – well done all 38 degrees supporters !)

• Allowing the bankers to keep their bonuses and the banks to keep their profits
• Cutting legal aid
• Withdrawing disability living allowance from those who need it
• Pension age increases and pension reductions
If you didn’t vote for them either, sign up to this campaign for another general election to be held now. In another 4 or 5 years it will be too late.Remember we didn’t vote for this !
