Its going to be more than 20% that is taken away from the childen once both the parents are charged, more like 37% - which is money that would have been used to support the kids, not all 'absent parents' aren't paying, some have had it taken from thier wages at source and so this will mean that they have an extra bill too. The only ones that will suffer is the children as there is less to go round. The CSA is a crappy service and their admin is pants but people suffer them because they are free, now the government want us to pay for the same crappy service - with a new name, and pay through the nose for it. The whole green paper is patronising and scapgoats single parents. Please, please, please look at this before it slides through the net and effects 1.3 million people, most who are unaware its happening. The 'consultation' is over already.
