Who believes that the British Honours system is fair, unbiased; independant and rewards the genuinely deserving ?
In the 21st Century we still have governments awarding Knighthoods and Peerages to ''the great & good' who have done them 'favours' while genuine recipients get a few patronising crumbs.
SUGGESTION: The honours system must be removed 100% from the reach of politicians. Honours should be decided by an independant panel that represents a TRUE cross section of the British public - with no axe to grind and nothing to gain.
