refusing to give your personal details when simply returning items to a shop.
Why do we 'have to' give details? I was refused a refund today unless I complied. They told me it was to prevent fraud, but I'd already used my card to take the goods out. They didn't check then! Are retailers hiding behind some law or taking our details for reasons of their own. I was told, no details no refund. I'm fed up. They've got to be stopped, but how?

I've it upto here with this myself.
Others say just give fake, BUT the point is how can we get this stopped as it is our private information
