create a network of marine reserves covering 15% of our seas by 2015
less than one percent of opur seas are protected while they are dramatically overfished and being degraded creating safe areas for marine life to thrive, this would be good for the fishing industry as it would ensure a future for fishing in the future as fish would be more abundant outside the reserves if we carry on raping the marine environment then ultimatly we will be damaging our own way of life

It is is essential to start: we know things like this take longer than we want, but without that first step....?

this is an issue that is important, the more marine reserves there are the better protection the marine environment and its wild fish stocks will have. The only problem is that it will cost the government money to do it or either local trusts get the power to do it although its still the money issue to get it started.
