  The NHS is very fit for purpose if it is allowed to be. Something tells me Richard's comment is self serving ?

  Yeah, well if the government didn't keep cutting the subsidies, and allowed the system to work proprerly, then the nurses would be able to do their job, instead of having to do paper work, cleaning and other jobs that have nothing to do with nursing.
  Did you know that they are only allowed to be ill twice a year, or they are threatened with being sacked.
  I bet MP's don't get this pressure!
